Poetic book design for Facing Dayton: Food Justice. A project with the intention to bring a voice to Dayton residents facing food insecurity.

A food desert describes an urban area in which it is difficult to buy affordable or good-quality fresh food, ultimately the system has failed them.

Designers at the University of Dayton were assigned a story to illustrate. I believe community based design is extremely important and I was honored to be apart of something so powerful, inspiring, and necessary.
